General Responsibilities

The Senior Director Instructional Design and Learning Technology will reports into the Vice President Global Learning and Leadership Development and will lead and develop a staff of Instructional Designers to meet the specific Instructional needs of assigned project(s). Oversee the design, development, and deployment of a globally consistent instructional processes for assigned project(s) including but not limited to:  needs analysis, course design, development, deployment, and evaluation. Responsible for cultivating account relationship to ascertain and maintain an ongoing partnership resulting in Increased Employee NPS, reduced production cost, continual performance improvement, and increased revenue.                                               



Essential Functions/Core Responsibilities:                                               


  • Mentor Instructional Designers in order to maximize their skill sets in instructional design and development and increase their understanding of instructional processes and methodologies                                           
  • Ensure staff has adequate tools, techniques and methods to perform their jobs and deploy best in class support to operations                                                                                      
  • Provide focus for staff on fiscal impacts and need to deliver efficient and effective training design solutions to support profitability and employee satisfaction goals                                                                           
  • Primary project ownership for vertical/divisional instructional deliverables                                                                                         
  • Attend calibration and operational team meetings as appropriate to ensure understanding of client and operations needs                                                                                                                 
  • Communicate and partner with the Global Learning and associated groups to organization to design efficient operational processes in support of project profitability and  satisfaction goals                                               
  • Establish and maintain an environment of continual improvement across all design and development processes owned for assigned project(s)                                          
  • Coordinate functional teams to provide learning and non-learning performance solutions through teamwork with operations, quality staff, project management, clients and the use of in-depth analysis and assessment, design and facilitation


Mandatory Requirements

Candidate Profile: 


  • Bachelor's Degree in related field, with 10 years experience of relevant experience preferred 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to effectively present information to internal and external associates      
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills   
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize projects in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented business environment

  • Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach and provide direction to a team of employees
