General Responsibilities

Position Overview:

 

The Eastern Region sales group has a need for inside sales support in our Sanford Florida sales office.  This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of our sales team handling accounts worth up to $5,000,000 for Hertz.  The responsibilities are multi-faceted, making every day unique and interesting.  This is a wonderful opportunity to learn how a leading global company organizes and supports its sales team from start to finish, including sales planning, pricing, tracking activity, contracting, implementation, and customer service.  The position interacts with sales people, account contacts, local management, operations management, sales vice presidents, and headquarters staff.

 

Position highlights include:

 

Pricing Requests and Analysis

 

  • Contributing to the creation and analysis of pricing for new account bids and renewals
  • Gathering reports and data to be used in our pricing models
  • Assisting account managers with analyzing and communicating pricing
  • Preparing pricing requests for internal approval
  • Update opportunities, quotes, and agreements in sales systems moving through approval

 

Sales Planning and Implementation Support

  • Participate coordinating and responding to formal account RFPs (Request For Proposal)
  • Team up with account managers and client contacts to implement contract rates and benefits
  • Assist with promoting and enrolling travelers into Hertz’s award winning Gold Plus Rewards
  • Facilitate the establishment of special direct billing programs with account contacts
  • Organize and customize information, analysis, and reports for accounts throughout the year
  • Update Account business review sheets to reflect current account information as needed

 

Customer Service

 

  • Assist clients with special VIP Reservations, and general questions
  • Develop a rapport and build relationships with account contacts
  • Liaise with Hertz Claims Management with claim issue investigations and insurance eligibility
  • Handle special service situations in support of the account managers as needed
  • Assist and support special ad hoc projects

Contracts and Sales Systems

  • Address open contract issues to resolution with the account managers and headquarters staffAssist with securing approvals to contract changes with Hertz’s law department
  • Support the Agreement preparation process and submit for processing in Hertz systems
  • Update rate and other information as needed in sales systems during the contract term

Mandatory Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred 

 Skills

  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; very good general computer skills
  • Professional level written and verbal communication skills, internally & with customers
  • A desire and willingness to work in a team environment
  • Customer service and detail oriented, with good organizational and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of SalesForce is helpful, but not required
