  • General Responsibilities



    This position will support the
    Director, CRM Operations in managing the production and execution of highly targeted direct and digital marketing programs and assist in building out operational components for marketing automations. This role will lead a team that focuses on the execution and analysis of customer engagement methodologies in support of the customer lifecycle of three brands; Hertz, Dollar and Thrifty.  The role will also assist in the migration of current loyalty communications into the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform. This resource should have some familiarity with SQL, email design/optimization and email coding languages like HTML, CSS and scripting.


    • Support the implementation of CRM Marketing Team campaign initiatives utilizing the Salesforce Marketing Cloud tool set.
    • Assist in the development and execution of multichannel customer journey initiatives by deriving insights from campaign analyses, data mining, web analytics, and test and learn initiatives to drive and optimize customer loyalty, acquisition, retention, personalization and promotional strategies.
    • Partner with cross functional teams (i.e. Marketing, Finance, IT, Digital, Creative Services, and Customer Experience) to align integration of objectives, and ensure marketing strategies and promotions are optimized.
    • Ensure seamless migration and optimization of existing loyalty communications from external platform into Salesforce Marketing Cloud (data, automations, creative, etc.)
    • Provide ongoing troubleshooting of marketing automation tool
    • Drive excellence in leveraging the marketing automation tool to create best in class customer experiences.
    • Manage intermediate level enhancements and fixes including items such as adding custom fields, creating email templates, etc.
    • Partner with agency teams to develop and execute marketing communications.
    • Ensure consistency of brand identity across all communication.
    • Develop best practices for leveraging the marketing automation tool and socialize with cross-functional stakeholders.

    Mandatory Requirements


    • Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in Business, Marketing, Computer Science / Information Technology; MBA strongly preferred.
    • 5 years of increasing experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred)
    • 4 years of database/direct marketing experience
    • 2-4 years working with customer data models
    • Proven leadership skills
    • Ability to analyze data from multiple sources and platforms
    • Familiarity with SQL and HTML/CSS/Scripting in relation to Email Design is a plus
    • Experience in CRM modeling, analytics, and campaign execution
    • Proven ability to derive, manipulate, synthesize, and apply findings to business problems to lift revenue and profits.
    • Understanding of customer analytics, CRM, digital marketing, and customer data platform
    • Understanding of how to apply technology to support business process and campaign workflows
    • Strong creative thinking and analytical skills
