Support the building of actuarial models and analytics to drive continual improvement and accuracy in the rate and reserve levels. Partner with key personnel in accounting to ensure the appropriate rates and reserves are implemented into Hertz’s financial reporting system; and, that the required reporting that supports the financial audits is performed and completed in a timely manner. - Data Management – become functional with each of the claims, rental, and financial data systems, as well as develop expertise with databases, to the degree of being able to extract data, build reports, improve data availability and integrity, document structures and processes, and reconcile and validate data accuracy. Building strong data sources will drive improved analytics, streamline reporting processes, and reduce the time spent satisfying audit and reconciliation requirements; thus creating more cost-efficient reporting and providing management with greater business insight. - Internal Analytics – analyze rental and claims data to provide profitability and claims experience analytics to the various internal business unit partners to support both the structure and sale of rental agreements. Additionally, provide reports and exhibits to various internal partners in claims, tax, accounting, and finance to support each of their functions and reporting responsibilities. - External Reporting – liaise with the hired actuarial consulting firm with respect to providing data for analysis, managing timelines and work contracts, responding to questions and inquiries, and reviewing and approving actuarial reports produced and submitted by the actuarial firm. You will help evaluate what vehicles should be bought from a portfolio of models offered by the manufacturers.   You will also be responsible to gather data from several different sources, harmonize that data with modeling techniques and load into repositories for further consumption. Output and report creation will also be in your scope of duties.   We are looking for analysts who enjoy being in the middle of business and data science. You will analyze complex business problems, design analytic solutions, gather data from various sources – and produce useable outputs on the directed platforms. A high degree of creativity and latitude is expected.   You will also be building automation around reporting and own projects to help improve the Procurement process. This will involve building visualizations in Tableau, writing SQL or Python code and building data models.   The goal of Fleet Procurement is to minimize the cost of the rental fleet while ensuring we have the right car at the right place and the right time. You will be expected to look for opportunities where we can reduce cost, improve utilization, and strive for results.   This position is a blend of Technical (70%) and Functional (30%) responsibilities. Ce membre de l’équipe touchant des commissions de vente offre un service à la clientèle de premier ordre et vend les produits et services de Hertz de manière professionnelle et efficace afin de répondre aux besoins des clients en matière de déplacements.   Ses responsabilités et fonctions principales sont les suivantes : - Communiquer efficacement et offrir des produits et services auxiliaires dans le but de rehausser l’expérience des clients. - Mettre fortement l’accent sur la vente des produits de base, notamment, mais sans s’y limiter, les options permettant de dégager les clients de la responsabilité des dommages, les options pour le carburant et les surclassements, ainsi que sur la maximisation des revenus découlant de ces produits. - Atteindre ses objectifs de vente personnels tout en soutenant les objectifs de l’équipe. - Travailler dans un environnement au rythme rapide, en offrant un service utile et de qualité et en réalisant des ventes tout en rehaussant l’expérience de location des clients. - Offrir un service à la clientèle de premier ordre en gérant les locations et les retours conformément aux politiques et aux procédures de Hertz. - Valider et traiter les locations avec exactitude et en accordant de l’attention aux détails. - Favoriser une amélioration continue du service en communiquant les rétroactions des clients à l’équipe et en participant à l’élaboration du plan d’action pour améliorer le rendement opérationnel et la satisfaction de la clientèle. - Résoudre les problèmes des clients et répondre à leurs préoccupations de manière professionnelle, en utilisant des techniques de service à la clientèle efficaces. - Conserver une présentation adéquate de manière à offrir un service à la clientèle de premier ordre, conformément aux lignes directrices établies.
