As a Functional Manager you will work on the day-to-day aspects of the rental car business while using superior management, leadership and customer service skills. You will work with a wide range of employees, customers, vendors, and third party contractors to achieve the overall results and goals for your area of operations. You are responsible for managing a unionized and/or non-unionized workforce, delivering quality customer service, increasing sales and revenue, scheduling adequate staff coverage, handling escalated customer issues and requests, recruiting new employees and providing them with training. You will be an expert in all of Hertz products and services and will coach employees how to improve their ability to sell and meet customer needs. The Counter Sales Representative is an essential member of the airport location team and is the brand ambassador, providing the fastest, easiest, and most valued experience to our customers. Responsibilities:

The Transportation Specialist is an essential member of the Hertz Local Edition team. As a brand ambassador, the Transportation Specialist will be facilitating the fastest, easiest, and most valued rental car experience to Lyft and/or Uber drivers
- Effectively communicate the Hertz/Lyft/Uber Rental Car Program and Procedures.
- Provide assistance creating a rental car reservation, processing rentals and providing clean and safe vehicles to our customers.
- Ensure optimal operational efficacies to provide customers the best rental car experience

Logistic Coordinator will receive work order requests from HLE and TNC operations, will determine where vehicles should go for service (load balancing), and work with distribution to have vehicles moved where necessary for the purposes of maintenance.
- Lead initiatives to minimize maintenance costs, improve fleet availability, improve vehicle quality standards and improve TB vehicle costs and deletion processing time
- Control maintenance expenditures, including the control of transportation costs, while maintaining vehicle quality and utilization within industry standards.
- Create, improve, and track key vendor productivity & cost metrics to drive efficiencies, and improve OOS and compliance to OEM and Hertz maintenance programs
- Drive process excellence in the areas of preventive maintenance and repair programs and processes to ensure a consistent standardized approach across the region that delivers best in class performance regardless of fleet age.
- Drive Customer satisfaction score results related to fleet condition and lead the development of programs designed to increase customer satisfaction associated with vehicle condition

Position can be located at any major airport in Texas or Oklahoma City.
The Zone Maintenance Manager position will report into the Region Maintenance Manager and will be responsible for the following:
- Supervise automotive maintenance operations at multiple locations
- Manage vending of mechanical and body damage cars according to procedure
- Create efficient processes for all maintenance paperwork (SRO, tire rec, parts inventory, shop equipment inventory and tool inventory)
- Manage VDA estimates from multiple damage writers (body damage knowledge and training required)
- Enforce no-rev compliance
- Manage license renewal process
- Control vehicle costs on turnbacks, mechanical and damage repairs
- Operate the blanket PO system and negotiate parts discounts

- You'll be responsible for vehicle preparation to ensure vehicle is ready for customer pick-up.
- Drive and park vehicles on-lot as needed.
- Check for vehicle damage and ensure features of the vehicles are operational.
- Check vehicle status. (rentable/non-rentable)
- Ensure interior of vehicle is clean. (windows, door jams, trunk, vacuum, etc)
- Fill gasoline tank and check fill levels of all fluids
- Clean the exterior of vehicle. (debug and wash)
- Meet processing and standardization quotas.
- Perform related tasks as directed by managers.
- Able to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
